-Day 1-
⭕️ 10:30 - Arrival at Hakone-Yumoto Station
Step into the bustling shopping street right outside the station, where souvenir shops await your exploration.
🍜 Nearby Restaurant: (湯葉丼 直吉) - Tofu Delights
Opens at 11:00 AM, so arrive early to avoid queues. The Tofu Rice Bowl Set is a must-try, no need to order extra dishes, the portion is satisfying.
🍴 Grilled Abalone & Scallop Skewers: Delectable treats with creamy soy sauce flavor. Walk left from the station to find this hidden gem.
⭕️ En route: Explore Owakudani and Chitose Falls
No need to get off the train, enjoy the view from your seat.
⭕️ Chokoku no Mori - Hakone Open-Air Museum
Alight at this station to visit the famous “Glass House” and the Picasso Exhibition at the Hakone Open-Air Museum. Don’t miss it! (You’ll see it right after getting off the train)
⭕️ Continue to Gora Station on the Hakone Tozan Cable Car
Check-in at Yukigeshou, your onsen hotel in Gora. This package includes dinner, breakfast, and access to three types of hot spring baths and snacks.
-Day 2-
⭕️ Depart from Gora Station
Take the Hakone Tozan Cable Car to Sounzan Station, then transfer to the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani.
⭕️ Next, board the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani
Although the famous black eggs are a delicacy, they taste quite similar to regular eggs, so you can skip them if you prefer.
⭕️ Continue to the Peach Blossom Plateau (Togen-dai) on the Hakone Ropeway
🍴B1 Lakeview Restaurant offers a perfect view of Ashinoko Lake and the pirate ships.
🚢B2 - Join the queue for the Hakone Pirate Ship.
🌟 The schedule is displayed in the shop on the first floor, or you can ask the crew. It stops at two ports: Hakone-machi and Moto-Hakone.
After docking at Moto-Hakone, take a short walk to 7-Eleven for snacks before heading to the Narukawa Art Museum.

A two-story museum where you can enjoy the best lake view: the torii gate and Mount Fuji.
⭕️ Hakone Shrine
After leaving the museum, search “Hakone Shrine” on Google Maps and walk about fifteen minutes to reach the shrine. The famous “floating” Torii gate is accessible from a path behind the amulet-selling area.
🌟 The queue on Tuesday afternoon can be quite long. For a similar view without the wait, find a spot near the shoreline rocks and capture stunning photos.
⭕️ 15:00 - Return to Hakone-Yumoto Station
Head back along the lakeside, where you’ll find boat rental stalls. Finally, walk to “Hakone-machi Port” and take a bus back to Hakone-Yumoto Station.
